On sustainability and transparency at Qosmic
At Qosmic, we believe sustainability is not a trend — it is a responsibility.
From the beginning, we set out to create a positive impact with our own exceptionally rigorous standards.
Every decision — from material selection to production and the full life cycle of our products — is guided by a genuine commitment to the environment and society.
Ecological footprint
In the 21st century, we believe there are new ways to look at the world.
That is why, from the very first moment, every one of our materials — from the main components to the secondary elements, including hardware and internal reinforcements — had to be sustainable.
This is why we chose to craft bags using grape-based leather.
This material allows us to create structures with the texture and strength we seek, while significantly reducing our environmental impact.
The results speak for themselves: compared with bovine leather, one kilo of grape reduces water footprint by 95% and carbon footprint by 98%.
Additionally, we commit to:
-
Reducing our operational footprint through local manufacturing.
-
Mitigating our long-term environmental impact — up to 1,000 years — through the Planet initiative.
Waste
The fashion industry is one of the most polluting, largely due to waste generation. At Qosmic, we take waste reduction seriously:
-
We produce in limited series to avoid overproduction.
-
We design and lab-test our pieces to maximise durability.
-
We minimise the use of plastics and synthetic materials, favouring recyclable packaging.
-
We actively promote conscious consumption.
-
We support the second-hand market with a blockchain-based digital certificate of authenticity and a transferable after-sales service. (See more about our Digital Passport)
Human footprint
The fashion industry also faces a less visible issue: the working conditions of those who make it possible.
For us, respect for artisans, our team, and our customers is non-negotiable.
We prioritise suppliers whose working environments we can verify personally, professionals whose values align with our project, and small businesses that have demonstrated integrity and craftsmanship.
We were born with a mission, and we will do everything in our power to fulfil it.
Social footprint
At Qosmic, we believe fashion can be a tool for social transformation.
Our impact goes beyond the product: we aim to inspire change in how women integrate into and are perceived within the business world.
We know many women still face barriers in leadership spaces. That is why we are committed to production models that not only respect those who craft our pieces, but also contribute to a more equitable representation in society.
Our mission is clear: to create more than accessories.
We want to leave a mark that inspires confidence, opens paths, and strengthens the presence of women in decision-making spaces.
Transparency
There is no sustainability without transparency.
For this reason, from the outset, we chose to store all information related to our practices on blockchain, creating a digital passport for each product.
This allows our clients to access supply-chain traceability with complete security and immutability, reinforcing the credibility of our commitment.

Conclusion
At Qosmic, we understand sustainability as a commitment that goes far beyond ecological materials or responsible processes.
It is a holistic vision that drives us to minimise our environmental impact, promote fair conditions within the industry, and create positive social change.
Every decision we make — from manufacturing to transparency — reflects our belief that luxury can, and must, evolve.
We believe in a future where fashion stands for respect, awareness, and purpose.
A NEW LUXURY IS POSSIBLE
